*prices outside of our normal free call out area charged at 20p per mile from the border of our usual free call out zone.

COMPUTER BUGS AND PROBLEMS

If you need any of the following the charges are £20 per hour either by remote or engineer call out.

• Windows configuration
• Virus removal
• Spyware removal
• PC health checks
• General bugs relating to software conflicts

If you bring your PC here the price is £30 for the repair no matter how long it takes.

WINDOWS INSTALLATION AND RE-INSTALLATION

You have Three options:

OPTION ONE - £30 - Work to be completed at our premises - Trago Special, on your way to Trago Mills, drop in your PC or Laptop and collect on your way out, work should be completed in 2 hours. If not, we will deliver out to you later for no extra charge.

1. Format your hard drive (Loss of all data, please make copies to cd/dvd of all documents you wish to save)
2. Installation of windows
3. Install drivers for the hardware inside the PC
4. All updates for your Windows operating system
5. Install Kaspersky Internet Security (£25 extra) or your own if prefered
6. Install Anti Spyware (Free)
7. Set up an internet based email account if required

OPTION TWO - £50 - Your Premises (Can take as long as four hours+ depending on download speeds and available drivers supplied by you.)

1. Installation of windows.
2. Installation of all updates, drivers needed, especially your motherboard if required to enable internet connection
3. Download and install all the windows updates
4. Install Virus Checker (free version or Kaspersky @ £25 extra), update virus list and then run a full check.
5. Install Free Spyware program and update.
6. Set up scheduling of virus checker and spyware updates
7. Run a full Virus Scan on your system
8. Running a full hard drive defragmentation of hard drive

OPTION THREE - £65 Our Premises due to required back up service - Free Collect and Return if within our normal service area.

This option includes all of the following

1. Back up all files and information from your working hard drive before format.
2. Installation of windows.
3. Installation of all drivers needed.*
4. Download and install all the windows updates
5. Install Virus Checker (Kaspersky Internet Security £25 extra, your supplied one or we will download a free one for you), update virus list and then run a full check.
6. Install Spyware program and update.
7. Install software to prevent almost all spyware
8. Set up scheduling of virus checker and spyware updates.
9. Install saved files backed up before the format
10. Install emails, accounts, favorites etc backed up before the format
11. You will receive a CD containing all the back up files
12. Install all your programmes again (You will need the CD's for us to this this)

What is this Kaspersky Internet Security?

Kaspersky Internet Security is one of the few Anti Virus names that we trust and use consistantly, online price list £39.95 but we will install it for you for £25 when we are visiting you. Believe it or not, Viri, customers have caught while using Norton/Symantec products normally find the Virus with this software. We also recommend back up with a decent spyware remover that Kaspersky is not really designed for, one of the best is actually free and we will happily install this for you as well.

TRAINING COSTS

This is a two hour lesson and the price is £40 for the two hour lesson at your home. This can be split into two parts if you wish, depending on your learning speed. Please note that although guidance can be given to certain programs you have on your computer, the main aim is to get you to know what to do, or more precisely, what NOT to do, to feel comfortable with the use of your computer know how to check and send your emails, create a letter, basic editing of photos etc etc.
